Emilie Sweigart

Emilie Sweigart is an editor at Americas Quarterly and a researcher for Americas Society/Council of the Americas’ Anti-Corruption Working Group. She has written for AQ about corruption, security policy and China-Latin America relations. Prior to joining AQ, Emilie was a contributing editor for Southern Pulse - Networked Intelligence. She has lived in Chile and Spain and is fluent in Spanish and proficient in Portuguese and French. Emilie received a B.A. in International Relations and Spanish from Tufts University and an M.A. in Latin American and Caribbean Regional Studies from Columbia University.
